It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Shepherd of Hays, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wayne. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Shumate Shepherd of Hays; his wife Melinda Roberts Shepherd; his children, Chase Eller of North Wilkesboro, Alyssa Roberts of North Wilkesboro and Kaileigh Porter of North Wilkesboro; and his brother Mark Shepherd (Danica) of Brevard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dehart Baptist Church (3263 Dehart Church Rd, Hays, NC 28635). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
