With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cheslie Franklin Johnson of Hays, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cheslie Franklin left this world on September 10, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Judson and Vallie Blevins Johnson; his wife Grace Delores Felts Johnson; his sisters, Retha Johnson and Sue Pruitt; his sons, Danny and David Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Doug Johnson (Shirley) of North Wilkesboro, Diane Spears (Mike) of Millers Creek and Rev. Ricky Johnson (Pam) of Hays; and his siblings, Perry Johnson (Sue) of North Wilkesboro and Mary Ellen Blevins of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
