In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shurlie Watkins and Mozelle Parsons Watkins; and his siblings, Carter Parsons and Betty Bower. He is survived by: his son Bruce Watkins of Millers Creek; his siblings, James "Chuck" Watkins (Teresa) of Millers Creek, Nancy Watkins of Hays and Kathy McLean of Wilkesboro; and his granddaughter Hailey Watkins of Burnsville. He is also survived by six nieces; and four nephews.
