We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2024, at the age of 85, Betty Jane Absher Whitley of Hays, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steward Absher and Lola Billings Absher; her sons, Roy Lee Whitley and Randall Dee Whitley; and her siblings, Lura, Mary, Martha, Glen, Jessie, Dock, Fletcher, Levi and Houston.
She is survived by: her son Jim Absher of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
