With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Mashburn of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Andrew Mashburn and Lottie Jane McMahan Mashburn; and his great grandchild Raylee Grace Vandewerker. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Anderson Mashburn; his children, Rosie Eaton (Tom) of Hayesville, Lisa Gibson of Hiawassee, Georgia, Eugene "Bo" Mashburn (Peggy) of Hayesville and Darren Mashburn (Stephanie) of Middletown, Ohio; and his brothers, Joel Mashburn of Hayesville and Ray Mashburn of Hiawassee, Georgia.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
