It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Oleta Tipton (Hayesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Cochran and Tilda Stanley Cochran; her husband Robert Reid Tipton; and her siblings, Aldon, Everett, Winford, Eugene, Cletis Cochran, Bertie Cochran, Bunice Sorrow and Orlean Fox.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Tipton (Judy) of Murphy, NC, Earl Tipton (Dorothy) of Copperhill, TN, Roy Tipton (Cheryl) of Blue Ridge, GA, Geraldine Sneed (Danny) of Murphy, NC, Geneva Rogers (Jim) of Murphy, NC and Amy Allen (Josh) of Leesville, SC; and her siblings, Milford Cochran of St. Augustine, FL, Bill Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA, Wylene Patterson of Mineral Bluff, GA and Jeremy Tipton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
