In the vast expanse of eternity, Ronald Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ronald Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Nigels and Amanda Dixon Nigels. He is survived by: his wife Judith May Nigels; his children, Peter Castles (Rachel) of Virginia and Rhonda "Sunshine" Rathey of Florida; his sisters, Doris Mann of Florida and Ida Rose Edwards of Hayesville; his grandson Dusty Nigels (Tara) of Florida; and his great grandchildren, Zach and Aedan Nigels.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Church (34 Sunrise Pl, Hayesville, NC 28904).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion #532, c/o Mitchell Shields or to the VFW #6812 in Hayesville.
