With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert N. Long of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2021 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert N. Long to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford N. Long and Donnie Maney Long; and his siblings, R. L., James, Paul B., Billy Long and Eula Mae.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Eller Long; his children, Jeff Long (Teresa) of Meritt Island, FL, Donna Long of Hayesville and Kristi Ingram (Scott) of Hayesville; and his grandchildren, Kyrie Bullock, Lindsay Bush, Rachel Bush, Hillary Farmer, Jacob Long, Hanna Long, Kyle Ingram and Dakota Ingram. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
