It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Walker Sewell of Hayesville, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Baker, Faye Adair, Robert and David Walker; and her grandson Jerry Shoults.

She is survived by: her sons, Earl Randolph "Randy" Sewell (Dorothy), Ronald Mark "Ronnie" Sewell (Camille) and Richard Bruce "Ricky" Sewell (Sonia); and her sisters, Margie Miller of Gainesville and Martha Atkinson of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Lucille Walker Sewell to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 50 Marvin Cabe Ln., Hayesville, NC 28904.

“So sad for you guys about your mom My mom will be 96 this year in May and lives in Lawrenceville Text me at 502-741-7217 or email at [email protected] I hope this is the Sewells that lived on Lockhaven circle in Atlanta, and grew up with me and my brothers Steve, Frankie, and sister Connie. We lost Steve to cancer a few years ago and my dad in 2005 My wife of 48 years and I have lived in Goshen, Ky (suburb of Louisville) since 1985 and have three children and six grand kids”
