She was predeceased by: her parents, Gorman Kitchens and Ethel Ashe Kitchens; her husband Robert Scroggs; her siblings, Otti, Cloe, Tom, Bill Kitchens and Fannie; and her grandson Rick Berrong.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Leslie of Hayesville, NC and Diane Brasher of Hayesville, NC; her grandsons, Jimmy, Barry and Robby Berrong; her great grandchildren, Mason Berrong, Katelyn Dillard, Austin Berrong, Cole Graves, Levi Martin and Jessica Gibson; and her great great grandchildren, Crypton Graves and Lelia Gibson.
