As Ledford departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ledford may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ledford leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Carl and Bonnie Ruth Gibson Ledford; and his siblings, Eva Ree Wright, Adam, James and Lawrence Ledford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home - Hayesville (67 NC-69, Hayesville, NC 28904). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
