He is survived by: his wife Glenda Ann Wood Hooper; his son Craig Hooper (Ilisse) of Hayesville; his brother Butch Hooper (Lynette) of Hayesville; and his grandson Dustin Hooper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
