It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Chance of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fonzey Coffey and Inez Mann Coffey; and her siblings, Bobby Dean Coffey, Billy Coffey and Hanna Coffey.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda West (Austin), Joey Graper (Janie), Robbie Graper (Angie) and James Chance (Carrie); and her siblings, Lloyd Coffey (Susan), Bonnie Cable and Susie Anderson (Don). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
