He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Charles and Eula Blanche Eller Moffitt; and his brother Javana Moffitt. He is survived by: his wife Joann Cross Moffitt; his children, Suzann Ledford (David) of Hayesville and Kent Moffitt (Jackie) of Murphy; his sister Minnette Moore (Gene) of Hayesville; and his grandson Justin Moffitt of Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
