It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold McCray of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold McCray to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Willard Burton and Tilda Elizabeth Chance McCray; and his granddaughter Sandra Katherine Beasenburg. He is survived by: his wife Eva Rogers McCray; his children, Carol Gibson (Joe) of Andrews, Linda Beasenberg (Mathew) of Calhoun, Georgia and Wayne McCray (Betty) of Jamestown; and his brother Herbert McCray (Wanda) of Hiawassee, Georgia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Fires Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 448 Rebel Lane, Hayesville, NC 28904.
