It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Yeaton (Hayesville, North Carolina), born in Vassalboro, Maine, who passed away on July 6, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gove and Myrtle Gove; her siblings, Richard, Ruth Haney and Evelyn Zilher; her son Bennie; her granddaughter Carlene Yeaton; and her great grandchild Isaac Demers.
She is survived by: her husband Bishop Scott Demers; her children, Kennedy Yeaton of Brooksville, Ronald Yeaton of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, Gladys Weymouth of Augusta and Mary Ann Robinson of Chelsae, Maine; her sister Kay Steward; and also Carolyn Demers of Hayesville.
