It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Maresca of Hayesville, North Carolina, born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthoney Maresca and Teresa Lacadito Maresca; and his sisters, Vickki Maresca, Millie Maresca, Anne Maresca and Rose Maresca.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia DiSimoni Maresca; his children, Craig Sena, Derek Sena (Tara), Eric Lennington (Valerie), Christopher Maresca, Valerie Swisher (Steven), Liza Sena, Jennifer Ray, Sheila Gordon and Kathi Maresca (Bo); his brother Raymond Maresca (Lucille); his grandchildren, Victoria, Candice, Maci, Madison, Saylor, Erika, Isabela, Blake, Areil, Berek, Kristen, Weymon, Ben and Julianna; and his great grandchildren, McCoy, Paxton, Bekett, Zoie and Kaidence.
