He was predeceased by: his father Don Henderson; his wife Florence Judy Ann Henderson; and his brother Gerald Henderson. He is survived by: his mother Louise Anderson Henderson; his children, Edward John Henderson, Jr. (Angela), Jacob Lloyd Henderson, Elizabeth Louise Patterson and Michelle Ann Cooper; his siblings, Bass Henderson and Suzie Eller; his grandchildren, Heather Maney, Tiffiany Patterson Hopper, Angela Lane, Joseph Patterson, Chrissy Phillips, Benjamin Phillips, Celeste Phillips, Marshall Henderson, Liv Wilson and Destiny Lang; and his great grandchildren, Payton Hunt, Addison Patterson, Lillie Barrett, Athena Wilson, Scarlet Lang, Aniston Nesmith and Matthew Brooks Kifer.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery.
