He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Ramey and Pearl Ramey. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Ramey of Hayesville; his son Nick Ramey (Brenda) of Hohenwald; his grandchildren, Will and Abby Ramey; his stepgrandchild Hailey Toft (Jared); his daughter Ginger Hill (Timmy) of Linden; his grandchildren, Seth Hill (Katie), Sara Hayes (Nick) and Rachel Hill (Justin Marek); his children, Violet (Wesley), Sara (Nick), Connor and Maggie; his brother Jack Ramey of Savannah, Tennessee; the mother of his children Peggy Ramey of Hohenwald, Tennessee.; and also, Fallon and Ashley Dobbs (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of David Ward Ramey to the Perry County Animal Shelter, 249 Buffalo River Heights Road, Linden, TN 37096.
