It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claude Lynn Jones of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jones and Maudie Beatrice Creacy Jones; and his brother Bobby B. Jones. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Jones of Hayesville; his children, Cheryl Rickly (Stephen) of Palmetto, Florida and Stacey Jones (Donna) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Kirby Jones, Nicholas Contessa and Kyle Rickly; and his great grandchildren, Kadynce, Ayvrie and Holden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
