She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and June Emery Girard; her husband Richard Hewett Swenson; her son Richard Hewett Swenson Jr.; and her brothers, James and Robert Girard.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Swenson, Timothy Swenson, Michael Swenson, Dennis Swenson and Mark Swenson of Georgia; and her brother Dennis Girard. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
