She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Mutt" Poteat and Claudia Lee Moore Poteat; and her siblings, Eugene Moore, Lindsay Poteat, Robert Poteat, Kathy "Cabbage" Suggs and Gracie Winstead.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Worth Holt; her son Nathan Chambers; her granddaughter Chai Chambers; her great grandchild Jamil; her stepson Fabian (Thompson); and her siblings, Gladys Gentry, Willie Poteat and Katie Harshaw. She is also survived by several nieces nephews other relatives and their friends.
