He is survived by: his wife Martha Blackwell Riggins; his sons, Samuel Riggins (Sabrina) of Alamance County and Jason Riggins of Alamance County; and his siblings, Sherry Frazier (David) of Burlington, NC and Dahl T Carnes (Jane) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
