He is survived by: his wife Marie Scoggins; his children, Angela "Angie" Murphy of Burlington, Ronald "Ron" Neil Scoggins, Jr. (Stephanie) of Snow Camp and Amber Gauldin (Ed) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Raegan Scoggins, Rebekah Scoggins and Presley Brown; his great grandchildren, Braedyn Smith, Lilly Baldwin and Kaleb Baldwin; and his siblings, David Scoggins (Forrest) of Holden Beach and Carla Best (Tommy) of Elon.
