It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Coy Anderson Latta of Haw River, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Virgil Latta and Lana Holman Latta; and his daughter Melissa Yvette Latta. He is survived by: his wife Ophelia Hightower Latta; his children, Meredith Latta of Mebane, NC and Teresa Bryant of Burlington, NC; and his sisters, Betty Turner of Greensboro, NC, Christie Murdock of Greensboro, NC and Hazelene Mebne (Robert) of Burlington, NC.
