He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Cook (Buck) and Betty Phillips Lankford; and his siblings, Delmar Phillip Lankford and Penny Dixon. He is survived by: his daughters, Bridgette Martin of Florida, Megan Lankford of Burlington, Brooke Lankford of Burlington, Sherry Wade (Bobby) of Mebane, NC and Kathy Kimrey (Dana) of Roxboro, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
