She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Ralph Davis and Alma Dillard Davis. She is survived by: her sons, Travis Lee Sykes (Scarlett) and Philip Daniel Sykes (Caroline); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Levi, Lily, Ben, Ian, Launa and Autumn; and her siblings, Brenda Davis (Billy) and Roger Davis. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service - Mebane (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice at 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27217.
