He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Janie Moore Medlin; and his sisters, Janeen Holmes and Brenda Medlin. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Myers Medlin; his children, Stephen Medlin (Kelly) of Jonesborough, TN, Sheila Bolick (Dean) of Gastonia and Stuart Medlin (Diana) of Cary; his brothers, Marvin Medlin (Dot) of Lebanon, TN, Kenneth Medlin (Judy) of Hurdle Mills and Douglas Medlin (Patricia) of Marshville, NC; and his grandchildren, Brock Medlin, Alex Medlin, Melinda Medlin, Amelia Barnes (Adam, Miranda Bolick), Lydia Bolick, Jennifer Chase (Andrew, Juliana Medlin) and Jacob Medlin.
