We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 81, Gail Rhew Reavis of Haw River, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walter E. Rhew; her husband James Shelton; her daughter Teresa Reavis Jones; and her sister Lola Oettel. She is survived by: her mother Edna Way; her sons, James Shelton "Jim" Reavis Jr. (Sharon) of Atlantic Beach and Michael Scott "Mike" Reavis of Burlington; her grandchildren, Richard Smith of Climax, Danielle Reavis Doucette (Geoff) of Burlington, Dylan Reavis (Emily) of Snow Camp, Nicholas Reavis of Graham, Kelsey Dunlap of Burlington and Mercedes Ivy Smith of Oak Ridge; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Axel and Maverick Smith; her grandchildren, Tinsleigh, Presleigh, Blakeleigh Doucette, Olivia Reavis, Angel, Abbey Blaylock, Heather, Hannah Buntin and Murphy Grey; and her siblings, Deborah McGowan, Jackie Rhew (Linda) and Edward Rhew. She is also survived by her family, especially her loving grandchildren.
