She was predeceased by: her spouse John Brookes; and her parents, Calvin Richard Smithey and Lois Black Smithey. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Denison, Mike Kimrey, Calvin Kimrey and Tony Laughlin; her grandchildren, Brandon Long, Corey Laughlin, Chelsea Kimrey, Lauren Sanders, Olivia Kimrey and McKenzie Kimrey; and her great grandchild Tye Long.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. by Pastor Tommy Bright with the family receiving friends from 2:45 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service. favorite_border Donations Pledges.
