He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Brian Smith, Sr. and Jackie Smith Benefield of Wilmington, N. C.; and his brother Dallas Brian Smith, Jr. of Utah. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith of Havelock, N. C.; his daughter Jennifer Smith Oblander (Adran); his grandsons, Damien and Matthew Oblander of Cove City, N. C.; his stepchildren, Katie Whittaker and Chris Kilker; and his stepgrandchildren, Maddie, Ella and Bentley Kilker of Havelock, N. C.. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
