With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Vincent MacAvery (Havelock, North Carolina), born in Beacon, New York, who passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vincent MacAvery and Charlotte R. Kirkup MacAvery; his wife Dianne Meeks MacAvery; and his stepson Anthony Meeks. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer L. MacAvery Collins of Swansboro, NC and Chad Vincent MacAvery of Emerald Isle, NC; his sister Carol A. Coons (Elliott) of Beacon, NY; his stepsons, Nicholas J. Meeks (Nicole) of Syracuse, NY, Christopher L. Meeks (Brandi) of Swansboro, NC and Kevin W. Meeks (Crystal Hendricks) of New Hampshire; and his stepgrandchildren, Caleb, Connor, Cody, River Meeks and Kerah Hubbard.
