We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2023, at the age of 93, Muriel E. Flanigan of Havelock, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Hugh Owen and Philip Owen; and her grandchildren, Patrick and Rebecca Ryals. She is survived by: her husband John B. Flanigan Jr.; her children, Laura Ryals (David) of McLeansville, N. C., Leigh Anderson (Eddie) of New Bern, N. C. and John B. Flanigan III of Havelock, N. C.; and her sister Hilda Bennett (Ontario) of London.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 529 Moye Blvd., Greenville, N.C. 27834.
