He is survived by: his wife Darlene DeFeo; his children, Trisha Tobin (Daniel) of Havelock, NC and Frederick Shawn DeFeo of Beaufort, NC; and his siblings, Jessica Donald (Stephen) of Grifton, NC, Karin Mull (David) of Grifton, NC and Charles Lyons of Newport, NC. He is also survived by his family, friends.
