He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Adams (April) and Irene Adams Sanders; his stepfathers, Leslie Sanders and Clyde Jones; and his sister Jean Carolyn.
He is survived by: his friend Cleveland Ballard; his sister Shirley Adams of Bogue; his children, Angela Goff-Boaz of Stella, NC and Bobby Goff (Amy) of St. Marys, GA; his stepbrother Leland Sanders (Kathy) of Bogue; his grandchildren, Anna Boaz, Caden Goff, Madi Goff and Evan Goff; his close friend Peggy Briley; his brother Cleveland Ballard (Kim); his children, James and Julia; and also, Brandon and Aaron.
