It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Jaculin Cook of Harrisburg, North Carolina, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Edward Austin; her husband James Junior Cook; her son Timothy J. Cook; and her siblings, Herman Austin and Carolyn Bryan.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Waterhouse (Michael) of Denton, TX, Becky Smith (Richard) of Harrisburg, NC and Keith Cook of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
