She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde C. Hartsell and Melize Simpson Hartsell; her husband Wade Nelson Carter Jr.; and her brother Jeff Hartsell. She is survived by: her children, Beth McMahan (Dwayne) and Trey Carter (Lacy); her grandchildren, Morgan, Adam Rivers, Collin, Cameron and Kennedy Carter; her great grandchildren, Braxton Gaddis, Nora and Parker Rivers; and her brothers, Clyde Hartsell (Jean) and Danny Hartsell (Linn). She is also survived by the children or grandchildren were on and the parents.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Harrisburg (12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
