It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Morris of Harrisburg, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelia Vance Morris and Edward Z. Morris Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Linker Morris; his daughters, Casey Killough (Kevin) and Mandy Watson (Jesse); his brother Edward "Eddie" Z. Morris, Jr. (Karen); and his grandchildren, Payton and Easton Watson.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church Cemetery (6841 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church, 6841 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027, or to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
