He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gerald, Sr. and Sarah Stille Kinard; his wife Angel Andrews Kinard; and his brother Joseph Gerald Kinard, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Robert Eugene Kinard, Jr. (Tina), Kimberly Kinard and Michael Kinard (Sarah); his grandchildren, Ava Kinard, Grant Kinard, Lily Dawrs, Oscar Dawrs, Penelope Miller and Matthew Miller; and his siblings, Steven Kinard and Sarah Kinard Wingate (Earl).
