He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bennett and Emily Rood Bennett; and his siblings, Earl Bennett, Jr., Robert W. Bennett, Elizabeth Sue Bennett and Edith Jane Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Jean B. Bevan; his daughters, Lisa Noelle Cole of Harrisburg, NC and Wendy Lynn Henry (David) of Cattaraugus, NY; his grandchildren, Nate and Audrey Cole; and his sister Emily L. Bennett of Houston, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
