She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Young and Savannah Wallace Young. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Hargett of Harrisburg; her sons, Steve and Todd Bennett (Heather); her siblings, John Young (Joyce) and Nancy Hawk; and her stepdaughters, Debbie Gilmore (Terry) and Cindy Hargett. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
