He was predeceased by: his parents, Buron Odus Weaver and Avalonia Hambright Weaver; his wife Dorthy Patterson Weaver; his son-in-law Strickland Charles Dalton; his sisters, Adelaide Weaver Roberts and Myrtice Weaver; and his nephew Hawthorne "Thorn" Miller.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Weaver Dalton; his grandchildren, Erin Dalton Plummer (Russell) and Erik Dalton (Abbie); his great grandchildren, Jeron Plummer, Luka Dalton and Kaleb Dalton; and his nieces and nephews, Warren Roberts Jr. (Robin), Lisa Ruggles (Steve), Patricia Carrol (Don), Greg Patterson (Judy), Charlotte Bowers Cunningham (Jeff) and Mark Bush (Stephanie).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor and memory of Fred to Habitat for Humanity or Baptist on Mission.
