She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenna Brown Stough and Lonnie Stough; her husband Meredith "Bub" Ray Safrit; and her stepdaughter Janet Safrit Helms. She is survived by: her daughter Renay Dunlap (Everette); her siblings, Edith Hundley, Brown Stough and Glenn Stough; her granddaughters, Erica and Kelly Dunlap; and her stepgrandson Devin Andrew Helms.
