He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Dew and Metta Dew; and his siblings, Edwin Dew, Eidson Dew, Linney Dew and Cora Mae Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Dew of Harrisburg, NC; his children, Kenneth (Adriana Dew Jr.), Ronald (Eileen), Lisa Hartsell of Matthews, NC and Daniel Dew of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Hartsell, Marisa Dew, Miranda Dew Beagle, Sarah Dew, Edward Dew and Anna Dew; and his sister Alice Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
