It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Cole (Harris, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Waters and Ruth Taylor Waters; her husband Gerald Max Cole; her siblings, Bud Waters, Beadie Waters, Gert Ellis and Betty Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Gracie Alexander and Katelyn Gowan.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Cole Alexander of Harris and Gerald Michael Cole of Forest City; her sister Elizabeth Carter of Shelby; her grandchildren, Jeffery Alexander (April), Gina Gowan (Tony), Justin Cole and Brandie Cole; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Maggie Gowan and Kalil Cole.
Memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 U.S. Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
