She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Tate and Mary Rich Tate; and her siblings, Hoyle Tate, Louvenia Bailey, Irene Gulledge, James Tate, Howard Tate and Herman Tate.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Roddy; her daughters, Gretchen Jolley of Spartanburg and Greta Wallace (Edward) of Harris; her brother Doyle Tate of Longs, SC; and her granddaughter Megan Randall (Alex).
