It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Elizabeth Guilliams Meek (Harrellsville, North Carolina), born in Falls City, Nebraska, who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Guilliams and Rose McCarty Guilliams; and her siblings, Catherine Coots, Margaret Humm and Charles "Chuck" Guilliams.
She is survived by: her husband Donald G. Meek; her children, Melissa Rose (Roger) of Harrellsville, NC, Bradley Cloninger (April) of Vale, NC, Thomas Meek (Candice) of Elizabeth City, NC, Nichole Scarborough (Dennis) of Norfolk, VA and Jonathan Meek of San Diego, CA; her daughter-in-law Stacy Cloninger of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Victoria, Zacharie, Dominic, Rebecca, Della, Robin, Hunter and Emma; her great grandchild Seth; her siblings, Richard Guilliams (Shirley), Gerald Guilliams, Patrick Guilliams (Linda), Frederick Guilliams, David Guilliams (Brenda), Maryanne Grubbs (Kenneth) and Jeanette Guilliams; and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Coots and James Humm. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
