She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Payne Newsome and Juanita Sumner Newsome; her husband Max Truman Hoggard; and her brother Charles Newsome. She is survived by: her pets, Cooper and MiMi; her children, Max Truman Hoggard, II (April) of Harrellsville and Krista Shea Hoggard of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Jordan Hoggard of Harrellsville and Kacie Logan Hoggard of Harrellsville; and her siblings, Sandra Barnes of Winterville, NC and Wesley Newsome of Cary, NC.
