He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Shaw and Annie Highsmith Shaw; and his brother Ollie B. Shaw. He is survived by: his daughters, Veronica Highsmith of Harrells and Shawana Lindsay (Roscoe) of Fayetteville; his siblings, John Michael Shaw (Dorothy) of Norfolk, VA, Roy Lee Shaw of Raleigh, Phyllis Graham (Barry) of Hope Mills, Linda Beatty (Jerry) of Hope Mills, Annie Doris Johnson of Harrells and Tina Owens (Timothy) of Harrells; and his sister-in-law Shirley Shaw of Garland. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
