He was predeceased by: his father Albert N. Chestnut Sr. (Lula); and his siblings, Larry Chestnutt, Johnny Rae Chestnutt Sr., Arnold "Buddy" Chestnutt Sr. and Cynthia Ann Chestnutt.
He is survived by: his mother Lula Chestnutt; his aunt Louise Robinson; his godson Dakota; his fiancé Shante Cartwright of Elizabethtown, NC; his children, Romeo Kizzy of Roseboro, NC, Gabriealle Chestnutt, Emilie Stevens, Imani Chestnutt and Andrea Chestnutt; his siblings, Lorretta Herring (Levie), Rosa Richardson, Shirley Robinson (Thomas), Vernell Parker, Retha Carr (Albert), Wanda Chestnutt, Albert Chestnutt Jr., Oscar Chestnutt and Lonnie Chestnutt; and his close friends, Love and Host. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
